Mew
And The Glass Handed Kites

This is a fantastic album that seemingly came out of nowherere. This album can simultaneously lull you to a hypnotic daze while hitting you with you with anthemic rock and roll power. It's not an album that you listen to once and immediately love. It's the type of album that needs to settle in the infest you r soul. There are hints of influences (Dinosaur Jr., Death Cab, Sigu Ros, My Bloody Valentine..etc), but their sound is their own, and what a sound it is. Expect them to be huge, and expect them to be around for a long time, once America finally decides to let these Danes reign supreme.

standout tracks: "Why Are You Looking Grave" and "The Zookeeper's Boy"
