Depending on my mood at the moment, this album could receive a number of different reviews with varying grades. My feelings about this album are about as inconsistent as the melodies. The experimental aspects, while interesting, can be incredibly exhausting, but credit must be given to the band for continuing to expand their sound and ideas. The Fiery Furnaces will remain one of the most interesting bands in the world as long as they fight the temptation to put out a standard indie rock record.
