BICYCLES I just wish it lasted longer. The songs on Disconnected pound along with tough biting vocals and crunching guitars that are sometimes sparse and othertimes omnipresent. Songs like Car Crash and Welcome to the Future feel like a rollercoaster ride with that nonstop forward rush, while "So Far" and "Shag" contain a danceable funkified undertown. There are moments on this record that seem to reach a peak only to be completely torn apart into another dimension as is the case with the glorious "Desperate." standout tracks: "Desperate" and "Shag" |
