The Fever
In The City of Sleep

In the City of Sleep builds off of The Fever's past work, which showed potential but seemed to be lacking something. Songs like "Waiting for the Centipede" bring a great dark variety of weirdness to the record, and that's what makes it work. It's an album that fits perfectly in the world of David Lynch, seemingly borrowing as much from Angelo Badalamenti as they do Gang of Four. The problem with the record is that it's too long, and inconsistent, which makes it an exhausting album, and spacing out the best songs too much.

standout tracks: "Waiting for the Centipede" and "The Secret"
