JOHNOSSI About 5 years ago, Sweden started shipping loads of bands to America. The first shipment included The Hives, Division of Laura Lee, and International Noise Conspiracy. America has kept its doors open to Sweden's music scene ever since, with a current explosion of artists including Jose Gonzales, Love is All, and now Johnossi. Johnossi's music fits along with the other Swedish success stories, essentially having a well-defined garage rock style. While most of the tracks are pretty good straight forward rock and roll, that won't blow you away, there are a couple mellow songs that end up being memorably great, especially "The Lottery," with it's excellent guitar riffage. standout tracks: "The Lottery" and "Family Values " |
