PEEPING TOM
Peeping Tom

Peeping Tom is Mike Patton's long-anticipated "pop" album. Patton has reached god-like status in a lot of music fans' eyes, which is understandable after his long history of outstanding music accomplishments. Add Peeping Tom to that list. The sound of this record falls somewhere between his work with Lovage and the Xecutioners, with Patton using about every different vocal style that he knows. And just like his collaborator Dan the Automator, Patton utilizes a vast array of guest musicians to make every song unique, while the album remains stable in sound. While Norah Jones' dirty guest vocals on "Sucker" have the reviewers talking, it's Patton's collaboration on "Kill the DJ" that I find most rewarding.

standout tracks: "Mojo" and "Kill the DJ"
