The Dears
Gang of Losers

How is this one not receiving "album of the year" praise? Every second of Gang of Losers is successful, with the band improving upon their theatrical sound that is so often linked to '90s Brit-pop. It's Murray Lightburn's powerful crooning that takes The Dears' sound to soaring heights. His voice falling somewhere between Blur's Damon Albarn and Morrissey guides the music which flows seamlessly throughout the entirety of Gang of Losers, creating what is easily one of the best listens of the year.

standout tracks: "Whites Only Party" and "There Goes My Outfit"
