Angels The Black Angels are 2006's hidden treasure. While they've gotten their fair share of attention, they've not received the blogger-favorite status of much less talented bands. Passover is a dark, haunting psychadelic trip of intense proportions. The many Jefferson Airplane comparisons that have been made, are more than appropriate, they're dead on. The Black Angels sludge through as though at war with the demons in a psychadelic hell. This is not that good trip happy-go-luck psychadelia. standout tracks: "Black Grease" and "Empire" |
